In the French edition, the translator, Honoré Gabriel Riquetti, Count de Mirabeau, included his translation of Price's work alongside his own remarks and retitled the combined work, Considérations sur l'Ordre de Cincinnatus, ou imitation d'un pamphlet anglo-américain ( London (1784, 1785) and Rotterdam (1788). This French translation was in turn translated back into English, titled, Considerations on the Order of Cincinnatus, and published in Philadelphia and London in 1785, and again in 1786 in Philadelphia.
