Samuel Preston Moore (305)

Samuel Preston Moore (1710–15 July 1785) was a physician and member of the American Philosophical Society, elected in 1771. He was born in Philadelphia to a Quaker family and physician father. He worked as a physician and consultant to the Pennsylvania Hospital, and later became the hospital's treasurer. Additionally, he served as Trustee of the General Loan Office and Pennsylvania's Provincial Treasurer from 1754–1768.
